Help please. I want to post just the gif without the bands on the top and bottom.

Above I was on Imgur, hit the three dots below the gif, then embed, then copied the code.

Is there a better way?

I have to copy the code, change the suffix to mp4 and then wrap in WEBM tags? Seems like a lot to do..

Right click on the gif, select 'copy video location', click the little W tag on the quick reply toolbar, right click then 'paste' in between the tags then post........ takes 10 seconds

Yeah I got that far and changed the suffix to mp4 using the W tags. You mean I don't have to change the extension name?

Sometimes, using "Waterfox" browser, you can right click on a video or image amd select "View Image Info" and in the media tab, get the direct link.....
