Lil Wayne Storms Off Stage At Cannabis Festival Because Crowd Was Too Mellow

Even though Lil Wayne is among at least a handful of rappers who are known to enjoy marijuana, his performance at the Medical Cannabis Concentrates Cup in San Bernardino, California last night didn’t go all that well.

His set, which headlined the second day of the festival, lasted just three songs because Weezy wasn’t feeling how mellow the crowd was. According to one audience member, “He wanted everyone with energy and to dance to his sh*t! But no one was interested in [“Lollipop”] son, these stoners said fuck it, and continued to dab and all boo’d Lil Wayne.”

After a couple songs, Lil Wayne went into a freestyle that turned into a rant, which ended with him saying, “Don’t you ever, ever, ever ask me to do this shit again.” After performing one more song, he addressed the crowd: “I’d like to thank y’all for y’all time, I don’t know what else… I appreciate it.” Then he smiled, dropped the microphone, and walked off stage.
