Courtney Stodden shaves hair after heartbreaking miscarriage: ‘I feel free'

Reality star Courtney Stodden shaved her platinum blond locks to memorialize her loss after suffering from a miscarriage.
Stodden, 21, who was expecting her first child with husband Doug Hutchinson, 56, showed off the shear look paired with a leopard print bikini early Monday.
“I feel free,” the reality TV star from Washington state wrote.
Stodden explained her decision to cut her hair in a heartfelt Twitter video on Sunday.

"I've decided that I want to give back to my angel with a symbolic gesture and that to me is shaving my hair off," she said. "I want to step into this new chapter in my life fresh."
On Saturday, Stodden visited the gravesite of her Hollywood icon, Marilyn Monroe, and left a handwritten letter and white roses.
"If I could wish you a star and make my dream come true, it would be that you and I could've met one day," wrote Stodden, sharing the letter on Instagram. "You'd tell me stories of how you were married at the tender age of 16 too, made love & experienced bitter losses."
Stodden, star of "Big Brother UK," married Hutchison ("The Green Mile," and "I Am Sam") when she was 16-years-old. Hutchinson was 50. The couple split in 2013, but got back together the following year.
The couple announced they were expecting a child in May and Stodden often posted photos of her growing baby bump on social media.
It's unclear how far along Stodden was in her pregnancy.
"I already love this baby so much," Stodden told Us Weekly shortly after announcing she was expecting. "I just fear the thought of motherhood. It's such an overwhelming responsibility and I want to be the very best mommy that I can possibly be."
