Old School Jon Bon Jovi Slams Justin Bieber And Zayn Malik For Disrespecting Their Fans: “Let Me Give You A Little Education Motherf***ers!”

    Tim Butters - Inquisitr

In a full and frank interview Jon Bon Jovi has slammed Justin Bieber and Zayn Malik for disrespecting their fans by walking off stage and canceling gigs due to, whisper it, anxiety.

Walking off stage or not showing up due to nerves is not something any self-respecting rock god would ever entertain. Imagine if Mick Jagger, Roger Daltrey, David Lee Roth, Steven Tyler or Bono failed to appear in front of the cheering hordes and then posted a message on social media explaining they were sorry but they were having a bad day and a bit nervous about performing.

Zayn Malik did back in June when he cancelled his appearance at the Summertime Ball concert due to a bad bout of anxiety.

“I flew into the UK last night to appear in my home country in front of my family, friends, and most importantly my UK fans. Unfortunately my anxiety that has haunted me throughout the last few months around live performances has gotten the better of me… with the magnitude of the event, I have suffered the worst anxiety of my career.

“I cannot apologize enough but I want to be honest with everyone who has patiently waited to see me, I promise I will do my best to make this up to everybody I’ve let down today.

“I know those who suffer anxiety will understand and I hope those who don’t can empathies with my situation.”

Can you hear that noise? It’s the sound of the great showman Freddie Mercury turning in his grave at the sorry shower of snowflakes who use nerves as an excuse not to deliver a performance for the waiting fans.

Either puke up your fears and get on with show, or get off the potty and allow someone else to take a turn.

Anxiety is a terrible thing but if you suffer from it to the point of becoming paralyzed with fear then the stage is no place for you. Perhaps a quiet corner in a library somewhere would be more apt?

Justin Bieber is not really the anxious type but the pop prima donna is prone to storming off stage because he can’t hold a crowd.

The Bieber has also branded fans “obnoxious” for screaming at his shows. Just imagine if The Beatles had done that?

Anyhow, both Bieber and Malik have come under fire from Jon Bon Jovi in a recent interview with The New Statesman where the elder statesman of rock brands the two pretenders to the throne as “disrespectful.”

Don’t forget Jon Bon has “seen 32 million faces and he’s rocked them all.” So he knows a thing or two about a thing or two.

“There is a generation of anxious young men and women who are being diagnosed for the first time – and maybe it was always there.

“I get it. But let me give you a little education, motherfucker. Jane just saved up for three months to buy that ticket. She travelled on a train to get there. And she is not going to be able to get a refund for her hotel room, or her travel, or the day she took off from work, or the babysitter she paid for. And the 120 families that are affected when they didn’t get their pay cheque at the end of the week because you didn’t show up for the fucking show…”

As Iggy Pop once said, “Well, I ‘ll tell you one good thing at least about some of these junkies was they had some character. They may have driven me nuts sometimes and screwed up, but at least when they played the damn guitar they’d play it like they meant it. These white bread boys nowadays, knowing all the score, don’ t even know how to puke.”

I was at a Bon Jovi concert mid 90's in Little Rock. Halfway through the concert he had the house lights turned on. Apparently the arena security in the buffer zone between stage and crowd were pushing away fans and snatching up discarded gear by the band.
He announced that his security would be searching arena security after the show and that if they found as much as a guitar pick their ass would be prosecuted.

Needless to say the arena was handing out free water and were much more courteous to patrons in the mosh pit.

Bon Jovi most definitely knows who butters his bread.
