Every state has weird, crazy, and/or antiquated laws. But even weirder is that there is a real reason why those laws are there. Somebody either did or tried to do this shit at one point in history. People always scoff at the laws that they find on the books, but they never look for the reason the law was passed. People in this country do crazy shit all the time. Just look at the Jackass tv show and series of movies and how successful they are.

I did some googling.

In Western Australia it is an offence to possess over 50kgs of potatoes. (Truth!)
