I forgot to address one of your complaints.

The outside shot of both ships approaching each other was great. Until they made the CG airport boarding bridge which looked totally fake and unrealistic.

It looked like fast nanobots rather than a true gantry way being connected between ships.


And what were the measurements Detmer was working from when docking....8, 7, 6...was that feet??

Yeah, that whole thing was so fucking hokey.

Yeah, I assumed it was meters she was calling out as they got closer and closer.

Riddle me this. The helm controls are touch screen buttons on a flat LED display. Just how much of a touch is needed pressing a setting with a zero to 10 range?

At times I wish the helm had an actual flight yoke and pedals beneath the console. Helm person has to pull back on the flightstick and makes noises like - WHOOAAAAA!

I used to think about those three levers they pushed up and down on the old transporter console. You had to move them correctly in tandem or some guy came back looking like a giraffe.

Didn't they mix up how they moved those levers sometimes when the transporter was acting up? There's no numbers or settings, how did they know how much to move each one?
