Trade partners. Keep that in mind. Your military allegiance lies elsewhere. We have a great relationship with Australia, we don't give them foreign aid, and they meet reasonable defense spending requirements. Because if Australia tried to impose tariffs on Chinese products, China would tell you to go get fucked because what you import is a drop in the bucket.
