It took me awhile to figure things out. I ended up getting an app to log my carbs, protein, and fat ( 5%, 20% and 75% ) And I got a blood tester on Amazon to measure my ketones. It all seems easy now compared to when I started. You can't cheat or you go out of Ketosis.
But yeah once I was into it I'd say it was easy, it took a couple weeks. I don't do any fancy Keto recipes, just straight food. Eggs, sausage, steak, avocados, butter, pepperoni, bleu cheese, macadamia nuts, certain veggies, high fat shakes with coconut cream, etc. I don't count calories at all. There are times I have to force myself to eat, its weird. Best thing is I don't have cravings for sweets and stuff although I miss my spaghetti.. 5% carbs is basically no carbs.
