It was god damn wonderful... I ate very bite and then complimented the people who work there.. The waiter called me "Amigo" and sat down at the table with me and chatted for a few minutes..

So stupidly easy to make. Chop the top off a head of garlic, cover in oil, then in tin foil and bake it for about 45 minutes with whatever else is for dinner. Veggies, chicken, steak, sandwiches, meat & cheese... doesn't matter, all tastes better with roasted garlic.

As a person who put 10 cloves in his last crockpot roast, couldn't agree more. You can't screw up a meal with garlic and I've tried

I thought I would too with my roast and it was only about 3 lbs if I remember correctly.

Maybe because I put a fuckton of vegetables in it as well. I did use 'Rooster' garlic which may be milder than other types.

I recall chopping up the 10 cloves and a whole onion and the house smelled wonderful...

The smell was great, but the garlic was just too over the top (too much used) and I had regrets...

When I'm doing something like prime rib, I like to cheat by using the minced garlic from a jar. It makes it nice and easy and it's hard to put too much on.

This was one that Costco had done the prep on.. I had no idea how much they had stuffed in there until after it was cooked and I started slicing...
