DENISON TX--Sherman and Denison police cooperated in an investigation that led to two arrests on Friday.
At a home on Doolittle street in Denison police found over a pound of marijuana, an assault rifle, two pistols and over 35-hundred dollars in cash. One woman, Dana Eleby, was arrested at the home. The search warrant was issued after another resident of the home, was taken into custody earlier that day.
Henry Peters was arrested after police found 70 grams of crack and powder cocaine in his vehicle during a traffic stop.
"It’s a good thing when we can pool our resources, it leads to bigger busts ,” said Sgt. Bruce Dawsey with the Sherman Police Department.
Both Eleby and Peters face felony drug charges.
