I'm subscribed to a bunch of guitar guys on youtube, mainly a lot of guys that demo gear for viewers (cause it sucks knowing something exists and not knowing what it sounds like. Experience has taught me that relying on opinions alone to make a purchase is not the best way to go about acquiring stuff to use in my musical endeavors. What other people like is usually a far cry from what I'm into). Anyway, I'm subscribed to an Aussie guitar player whose channel's named Middle Aged Gear Junkie. In a recent video, he referred to his area as the "Ass-end of the world". Given that I'm not entirely certain which part of Australia he's from, I was wondering if you guys refer to Australia as the 'ass-end of the world' generally, or do you bestow that moniker selectively to towns in pretty remote parts of your nation?
