Absolutely. Little bit off topic but Crypto is one of the biggest examples of why Youtube should never, ever have taken away the dislike feature. YT was already a hotbed of scams and bullshit info on crypto. Now that you can no longer see how many dislikes a video has, it'll get even worse.

but I really want to research and understand things properly before I put decent coin back in. It's definitely the way the future but something for sure is it enormous amount of money there is speculative. Just like the stock exchange only worse.
I'm going to go quietly back in once it bottoms out. I think the whole stock market is going to collapse hard within the next year. I don't think it's just because the fed is pouring money in. I think it's just that the cycles have to happen and the fed pouring money and Covid has delayed things and it's just going to make it worse and deeper. But it was going to happen anyhow. I don't think it's going to be as bad as the great depression. It might be just as sharp but it'll be shorter.
As for what stops this terrible inflation. Well, stop pouring money into the economy to prop things up ffs. It's natural that many businesses are meant to collapse. It doesn't mean starvation. It just means inefficient businesses are out of the way and more efficient ones replace them. I think the whole covid thing has seen governments around the world pouring cash in to prop things up, because nobody wants to be the government then pulls the plug on people during a pandemic. (I'm not going to get into US politics here, I'm talking about the general pattern).
The funny thing is that the people that lose out the most of those just responsibly save and put the money in bank earning interest, like they're meant to. I really feel sorry for the older generation.
