But that's also where the Utility position comes into play. You can put any player in the Utility position, regardless of what his 'normal' fielding position is. Like I said, don't worry about not having someone to fill a position every day because everyone will have the same problem certain days during the season. The easiest way to make sure you have a good team is to be diverse...you don't want too many position players all from the same team, because when that team has an off day, then you have a lot of players not playing that day.
Exactly....if you drop someone good just so you can pick up someone to fill an open roster spot, then another team will most likely swoop in and claim him off waivers (which I believe is either 2 or 3 days).this is a game that it is not necessarily the best idea to add and drop just to fill your roster every day, at least that's how i have found it before. some of the stats (i.e. errors, caught stealing, strikeouts) count against you, so you may end up losing those categories if you simply have more people playing... just sayin'

Exactly....the waiver priority will change throughout the season depending on who makes claims for players on waivers at the time. Every time you make a waiver claim and you successfully claim that player, you automatically go to the back of the list.
As dee said, initially it was set by the draft order....the exact opposite of the way the order was for the draft.
