I was weed eating under a crape myrtle and found a nest of them. The one I hit hopped away but didn't appear to be hurt when I caught him and put it back in the furr lined hole in the ground. There were 4 that I saw but a few hours later they had apparently migrated the 10 feet to the deep grass.

After posting that movie poster yesterday, I was inspired to find Night Of the Lepus.
Damn! It wasn't near as good as I remembered it as a teen in the 70's.

Yep, pretty sure that my Mama rabbit has moved her brood over to the hedge. She has been there all day standing guard and keeps going after the magpies...what a tough gig
