Fanboy Superman Finally Joins the Team in This 'Justice League' Promo Poster

    Ace Showbiz

Henry Cavill's Superman finally shows up in a new promotional poster for "Justice League". The Man of Steel has been absent from all the theatrical trailers and a bunch of photos of the DC superhero team-up film, but he can now be seen in the newly-unveiled poster looming large over his teammates.

The League looks ready for battle. Ben Affleck's Batman, Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa's Aquaman, Ezra Miller's The Flash and Ray Fisher's Cyborg are all striking bold poses in the poster, while Superman can be seen floating behind them and showing off his dauntless look.

It won't be long until "Justice League" hits theaters in the Unites States. The Zack Snyder-directed movie is set for a September 17 release. Snyder directed from a screenplay by Chris Terrio. After the helmer left the project in May following the death of his daughter, Joss Whedon acts as the director of post-production as well as screenwriter for the film's additional scenes and reshoots.

In "Justice League", fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman's selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat.

But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes--Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash--it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

The League will face off against Steppenwolf, played by Ciaran Hinds, in the flick. Other cast members include Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Amber Heard as Mera, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, J.K. Simmons as Commissioner James Gordon, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Connie Nielsen as Queen Hippolyta, Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko and Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor.

I honestly have no desire to see this. I haven't seen Batman v Superman, haven't seen Wonder Woman, haven't seen Man of Steel, none of the recent DC movies.

Marvel > DC and it's not even close.

Haven't seen any of them and yet you can unequivocally say that one's better than the other? You have no basis for comparison. You can't go by the opinions of others, since you might feel differently than everybody else does. I and many others love Nolan's Dark Knight Trilogy but you despise it (and you're wrong), but at least you've seen them and can form your own opinion over them.

At least I've seen the newer DC films and I know they suck.

That being said, I'm going to wait until I see the initial reviews for it and then decide whether or not I want to go see this. I'm tired of spending money only to end up being disappointed.

Yes, I can say that unequivocally thanks. I've seen enough DC Comics based films and there hasn't been a good one since Superman Returns. Every single one I've seen since that one (and several before) have sucked. Unlike you, I decided long ago to stop being disappointed by them and have stopped watching them. So I do have basis for comparison

I saw the Batman vs Superman movie and without spoilers, I found the idea of those two fighting idiotic. One of those - If we only communicated and said one thing to each other, the entire movie could have been avoided

Also, while not an expert on anything comic book, Superman should be able to kick the crap out of any human being...utility belts and other gizmos notwithstanding.

The only DC movie I've seen recently was Man of Steel. I really felt it lacked something. I'll have to catch up on the rest of them at some point but I'm getting super-hero'd out though between DC and Marvel.

Haven't seen the newest ones with Tom Holland yet. I was a little bummed they abandoned the Andrew Garfield Spiderman, I thought those ones were pretty good, far better than Toby Mcquire.

I liked the first 2 Toby Spider-mans. The third one had issues. I'm not big on the Andrew Garfield ones, although I liked Emma Stone's part in them. They screwed up the Goblin, though. I thought the Tom Holland one was awesome and I'm looking forward to more.

Marisa Tomei is still banging hot, and that end scene had me rolling.

    "What the f...!!!!"
