The cameras have rolled for "Captain Marvel". On Wednesday, January 24, Brie Larson was spotted on the set of the superhero movie. She was not seen in the red and blue Captain Marvel suit or Carol Danvers' costume though, as she was just casually walking around the set in a blue padded jacket, comfortable pants and brown boots.

While production on "Captain Marvel" is not scheduled to commence until March, it's likely that Larson was filming "Avengers: Infinity War" post-credits lead-in for her movie in Atlanta. Fans can expect to see the Academy Award-winning actress donning Captain Marvel costume in the coming days as filming is scheduled to continue throughout the week.

On the same day, the actress took to her official Twitter account to share a new photo of her during her recent visit to the Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada. The "Room" star revealed she had her flight training to prepare for her role as an Air Force pilot in "Captain Marvel". "Learning how to fly," she captioned the image showing her wearing a pilot uniform, complete with a helmet.

In the comics, Carol Danvers serves in the U.S. Air Force as an officer and Security Chief of a restricted military base. Making her first appearance as the member of the U.S. Air Force in "Marvel Super-Heroes" #3 before debuting as the first incarnation of Ms. Marvel in "Ms. Marvel" #1, she has been labeled "Marvel's biggest female hero," a "feminist icon" and "quite possibly Marvel's mightiest Avenger."

Rumor has it, before starring in her own solo movie in early 2019, Larson will make her debut as Danvers in the third "Avengers" movie, "Avengers: Infinity War", which is coming to theaters across the nation on May 4 this year. She will have a more prominent role in the yet-to-be-titled "Avengers 4", which recently wrapped up filming and is due out on May 3 next year.
