I read the same skater was disqualified because he did it twice. And he may have committed the same foul against the same skater (Japan)

Wow. No Gold for Canadians in men's or women's curling, women's hockey, and men's hockey is not looking great. I wonder when the last time we didn't win at least 1/4 of those golds It's a national tragedy.

Agreed, it was embarrassing.

Still, as I said before the Games, it was a hodgepodge. This tourny dictates "Who has the best pro players who can't make the NHL." It's not either a) the very best players in the world or b) the best ameratures in the world. It's just somewhere gross in-between You can call that an excuse, but it helps me sleep at night.

I have to think so eh.

What if you were a player who was in his early 30's, not looking at a deep playoff run for a Cup, and know that by the next Olympics even if the NHL goes you'll be too old? I'd think that'd be pretty disappointing.

For real. How about the younger guys? You watched the heroes that inspired you to play go and play in the Olympics. You probably expected to have that opportunity as well.
