The slope-style skiing final was unbelievably fun to watch yesterday, those guys are unreal. I'm a snowboarder so I was biased, but during the last Olympics I was convinced snowboard slopestyle was more fun to watch, but I think skiing has surpassed it. It was incredible.

So cool to see how excited the German team was to tie the men's two man bobsled team for the Gold, great sportsmanship all around! I love this shit

Absolutely wild fact... the last time we won gold in this very same event, it was also a tie

Americans won the gold in Women's Hockey, congrats! Shouldn't come down to a shootout, but the US was the better team that game anyways.

Don’t blame the skater, blame the rules of short track. If a skater falls by themselves at the start then tough luck. But if a skater falls and causes another skater to fall or stumble at the start then the race is stopped and they do it again. Skaters are incentivized to intentionally cause as many problems as possible at the start if they fall. I skated at the Olympic Trials for short track, every skater learns to do this from a young age.

Edit: Regarding the was it intentional debate: Yes it is absolutely intentional to reach his hand out and grab the Japanese skater. But the Japanese skater is “ok” with it because it’s just part of the sport and it is expected, so no it wasn’t intentionally devious or unsportsmanlike.
