Teacher and mum-of-two, 25, 'had sex with boy in school car park'

Madalyn Arnett, 25, was arrested after school officials reported rumours of a relationship between a teacher and a 16-year-old student.
Police were called after Arnett was reported for sexting the teen in the town of Franklin, Ohio.
The Franklin High School teacher is now facing a charge of battery.
She was arrested last week at her home in West Carrollton and prosecutors say she is now facing a third-degree felony charge.
Warren County prosecutor David Fornshell said the social studies teacher is accused of having sex with the student in the school car park.
She was placed on leave on March 27 when school authorities became aware of the relationship and escorted off the school's property.
Fornshell said students had been talking about the relationship at school, and that Arnett had exchanged inappropriate messages with the boy.
"This charge means there was a sexual encounter," Fornshell said.
Arnett had only been a qualified full-time teacher since May last year, according to state records.
The age of consent in Ohio is 16, but it is still illegal if someone has authority over the other partner — such as a teacher over a student.
