Fail Woman proposes to lover by putting ring in Kinder Egg inside her VAGINA – it ends badly

By Christine Younan - The Daily Star

A WOMAN got a nasty shock after her creative plan for proposing to her boyfriend went horribly wrong.

The unnamed woman was taking advantage of the Leap Year tradition – which means the female can propose to her man on February 29.

She decided to place an engagement ring inside a Kinder Egg and inserted it into her vagina.

But it didn’t go down well after the proposal landed her in A&E.

Her unfortunate story has been retold in former Junior Doctor Adam Kay’s hilarious novel, This Is Going To Hurt.

During his time as an NHS doctor, Adam worked as an obstetrician and gynaecologist.

Referring to the unlucky woman as Patient JB, the doctor said: “(She) decided to take advantage of tradition and propose to her boyfriend – going to the expense of buying an engagement ring, the trouble of putting it inside a Kinder Surprise egg and the imagination of inserting it vaginally.

"She would suggest some finger-work to her partner, he would discover it, retrieve it, and then she would go down on one knee (and, presumably, him).

"Equal parts unexpected, disgusting and, I suppose, romantic."

The woman's surprise didn’t go quite as planned and the egg ended up rotating itself lengthwise inside her vagina.

Adam added: “No amount of shoogling from either of them would get this particular goose to lay her golden egg.

"Remarkably, she was so keen to maintain the surprise she wouldn't tell him what she'd done or why."

The couple decided it was a hospital matter and that’s how they came to meet Dr Kay in cubicle three.

He retrieved the egg using a pair of sponge-holding forceps.

Then gave the boyfriend a pair of latex gloves to open his Kinder Surprise – inside was the engagement ring.

“She popped the question and he said yes,” Adam recalled.

“Presumably out of shock, or fear of what a woman who does that with a Kinder Surprise would do to him if spurned.”

Old leap year tradition. Nobody knows where it actually got started.
