Woke Artists Rewrite 'Responsible' Lyrics To 'Baby It's Cold Outside.' It's Full-Cringe.

Woke songwriters were displeased with the apparently offensive lyrics of Frank Loesser's Christmas classic "Baby it's Cold Outside," so they offered up a rewriting of the song that is free from offense and predictably full-cringe.
In the politically correct version of the classic, a woman is not being wooed to stay over; instead, a man is basically indifferent to having her company at all.
The song was first rewritten in 2016, though it recently resurfaced due to the controversy it yet again sparked with the Social Justice Left. According to Minnesota radio station The Current, songwriters Lydia Liza and Josiah Lemanski "revised the lyrics to emphasize the importance of consent in sexual relationships." The Current gushed about how much they "loved" the new tune and had Liza and Lemanski perform the scrubbed-of-romance version live in studio.
"I really can't stay," sings Liza, to which Lemanski responds, "Baby, I'm fine with that." Lemanski continues to boot Liza from his home:

At least I'm gonna say that I tried (You reserve the right to say no)
I really can't stay (You don't have to)
These two sure know how to make a girl feel wanted.
Although The Current was impressed with the new song, many listeners were not. "This is why Trump won," wrote one YouTube commenter. "1944: 'Baby, It's Cold Outside' 2017: 'Baby, Get Out of My House,'" read one comment. "This is what happens when we give losers trophies," said another viewer.
One commenter noted that the new version is basically a man kicking a woman out of his home though she clearly wants to stay: "When you rewrite the lyrics for the man and leave the woman's basically the same, it really doesn't make any sense. The woman clearly wants to stay. She had a good time, but she's concerned what other people might think. But in this version, the man apparently wants her to go away, but she just won't leave."
Earlier this month, a radio station in the Bay Area actually caved to the outrage mob's pressure and banned the song from their station. As reported by The Daily Wire on Monday, the song was reinstated on San Francisco's KOIT after a whopping 77% of listeners said they opposed the ban.
