Food Christmas day food and drink

So, what did you all have?

I started around 12pm with a bowl of homemade soup and a plain roll, went over to the football club with my dad and a bunch of friends at 1pm and had around 6 or 7 pints of Belhaven Best and a few rhubarb gins Back home around 4pm, skelped a bottle of wine alongside a beastly t-bone steak then fell asleep in a food/drink coma....... woke up around 9pm and had a big bowl of trifle

Not feeling the greatest today tbh

p.s. i had another bowl of trifle around midnight

Oh baby hope everyone is still full from a good meal.

My MIL brought over an incredible de-boned turkey. It was like a giant roll smothered in herbs and butter, and she make the gravy from the bones. She's the best home cook I know so it was unreal.

I made some stir fried spicy green beans, roasted carrots, roasted garlic mashed potatoes (with full fat whipped cream and butter ), homemade cranberry sauce and bacon fried brussel sprouts. My mom brought over pumpkin cheesecake for dessert but I'll have that for breakfast today because I was too full to eat it after dinner

I made a meatball sandwich with cheez whiz, then later on cooked up 12 of my oatmeal chocolate chip cookies and ate them all.

I don't feel so great today either

I'm not a turkey fan but a de-boned bird sounds yummy.

I've been buying some premashed potatoes (relatively healthy apparently) that are soaked in garlic and butter. Something about a big bucket of mashed spuds dripping in butter and garlic

We're lazy. Ours came from a box.

Totally not right, but still tasty.

I can't even put my hand up a raw turkey's ass so my I'm usually not very critical of stuffing etc

My Mom and my Aunt used to make a darker, nice stuffing with a little bit of spice and onions etc. Not too dry, not too wet...it was soooo good.
Can't think of the predominate spice used but I know it by smell.
