It's 1989 and my father passes away at 64. My 24 year old self tries to make sense of it all...realises he must get away and goes to England to find his "brave face" for 3 months.
I hit nightspots, I pump gas at my cousin's station, I do things very un-me like and discover things about myself that I need to know and discover my father in his relative's stories..
The Last Song - Elton John. Both my father and my mother looked so frail the last day they were alive. This song takes me back there on their last days.
