Yup every single Canadian team is playing (and against each other...Canadian team vs another Canadian team) yes AS still lives...but is kinda dead

Stupid Leafs down by 3 ... I need a drink
Yep - they suck worse than a crack whore with braces.
I have too many years with them to just turn my back - but ya - they suck.
Hopefully they can dump some players and re-build like the blackhawks or the pens.
That is the real and normal way to rebuild....Burke seems to think otherwise (trading all the team's draft picks)
Don't get me wrong - I think Kessel is good - and from most years is better than a lot of 1st round pics.
I think there are a few players that they can move for draft pics.
I can't see Toronto making the playoffs for a few more years
He was the best forward for the Leafs tonight BUT was he really worth Seguin a possibly top 5 pick this year and a 2nd round pick?! Sure draft picks are not actual player....YET (BTW it weakens the Leafs...but I still hate that trade personally)
Oh well...Next game for tonight : Canucks Vs Flames.
I did not like the trade either - I thought they gave up too much. But I do like Kessel as a player
He gave too much...but the worst about it is he did it to a team in his own division...(thats the part I hate )
We won
Salo looked good in his return. First game of the season, he played around 15 minutes.
He did take one penalty for hooking after being caught flat-footed on the rush but he still played well and we need him.
Second round of the Red Wings vs Bruins "saga" in 30 minutes (12:30 EST)
Islanders fined 100k for the Islanders-Pens brawl mess the other night
New York Islanders forward Trevor Gillies has been suspended for nine games for delivering a blow to the head and then administering several punches to the Penguins' Eric Tangradi, who was injured by Gillies' actions; Matt Martin has been suspended for four games as a result of delivering several punches from behind to an unsuspecting opponent (the Penguins' Max Talbot); and Penguins forward Eric Godard was suspended automatically for 10 games under Rule 70.11 for leaving the players' bench for the purpose of engaging in an altercation.
In addition to the suspensions, Gillies will lose $24,193.53 in salary; Martin will forfeit $41,585.36 (repeat offender); and Godard $40,322.25. The Islanders organization has also been fined $100,000...
100k would be NOTHING for MOST teams...but for them...OUCH
