Awesome show, I watched 6 episodes yesterday...
Saul failed the first lie detector test and speaks Arabic - guilty! (could have been a red herring thrown at us....)
Season 2 will be great if they can pull it off.I can't comment any further because a new ep aired last night and I haven't seen it yet....
Haven't seen last night's episode yet, so this is my speculation up to the episode before that...
Saul failed the first lie detector test like Hal said and then he was cool and collected and passed the 2nd test. Then Brody proved he could lie and still pass the polygraph...his line never moved during any of his questioning.
Still no idea who gave him the razor and that's awesome. Writing for this show is phenomenal.
Acquiring the most recent ep now...
I don't know, I'm still leaning toward Brody slipping the razor blade to him. That Saul thing with the lie detector was suspicious though...
I think Saul is a red herring just for the audience. They keep saying he's no good at the tests.Maybe just to generate paranoia into the mix.
I think Brody from episode one is guilty and is what Kerri/Kerry/Kari thinks he is.Not because of the finger tapping etc....just the fact he lived 8 years in the torture bunker and the part about them getting the intel to find the place 'all of a sudden', when the main bad guy usually is more careful than that.
It's sad that Brody may have been turned, but he has too many guilty 'tells' not to be hiding something.
Yep. Something Brody said to him before they fought could have been taken as a warning to keep his mouth shut too. I don't recall the words he used though.
Yea, Especially with the flashbacks of him beating his buddy to death and now the fooling the lie detector...
But would they make Saul that much of an obvious red herring? Seems way too in your face
That's why I love this show, the story and the writing and the acting are all top notch
Saul does have lots of time spent in the field overseas but didn't the info from the prisoner say "an American POW has been turned?" Unless Saul was a POW and we don't know about it yet... Or possibly he's a second traitor.
How about this?
The whole season one is gonna suck big bag if Brody wasn't guilty of something
I like the little touches...first scene of Kari on the move and she hits the bathroom, wipes her crotch with the rag and then hits the road again.Realism +1 !!!
I forget about that.
Perhaps the opening credits of Danes and Lewis in the hedge maze tell the story.....they'll be after Brody for quite a while, maybe the life of the show?
Get some nugget of evidence, then pull back, get some evidence....rinse, repeat?
No matter what he's up to, you gotta feel sorry for Brody's character.Just with the first 5 shows and the limited torture scenes they've showed, it's been brutal
It will be interesting now that the whole thing between Brody's wife and Mike are out in the open. Will Brody go ballistic on her too now?
And I did learn that before entering a building, I look in through the side window to make sure the door isn't booby trapped
