style and agenda aside, if the host is not willing to let an opposing viewpoint even be presented in the context of an answer to a question the host asked, he's got some problems. especially when making preposterous assertions - he should expect to be challenged when he makes a preposterous claim! if giving an answer is cut off so that another question can be presented because ol piers didnt like that he wasnt receiving an answer he wanted to hear, so ok next question...I mean, really?

What interview did you watch? I saw a unstable blowhard avoid the pompous hosts questions again and again - he avoided the hosts questions and refused to accept stats that contridicted his stance. He easily talked for 75% of the interview and did nothing to get his point across.
