that's another difference in $ between our countries...

I currently pay 98/month for that crappy net speed (no HBO streaming or anything similar) and basic cable. Which is pretty much 12 channels or locals as you call them...

If I went up to something close to that speed, it's over 150/month and that's without any TV or phone or other peripheral services...

I'm at $160/month for internet & cable with HD and DVR. No "premium" channels like HBO or Showtime but I get a lot of HD channels. I hardly ever have to find the SD version of a channel.

Yeah we take it up the wazoo hard up here for internet....South Korea has faster service for the $ ....no joke..

I checked yesterday for our Alberta rates...just internet, no peripherals, bundles or discounts....it's over 100 for 'up to 50MBs'
