Is it back to the Star Trek roots of being an adventure series, or is it just more of this modern trend of super-hero save the world from impending doom shit? Maybe I'm crazy but I loved the more episodic style of the older Star Trek series that were about exploration and science and the occasional major saga... not always a big evil threat about to destroy the whole fucking galaxy.
