Microsoft is changing what Edge is based on and going to a Chromium based engine, which Google's Chrome is built on (Opera uses the Chromium base as well). Just installed it and the first thing it asks is if you want to import all your Chrome settings and it worked flawlessly. Going to go ahead and play with it when I have a chance, install some extensions from the Chrome store and see how it goes. Would be nice to have another useful browser, and Edge does seem pretty fast.
Note: the article is a little old, and now the Beta channel is live and is the most stable version of the new Edge.
