    If you really want to go the extra mile, peel your chickpeas. Put them under running water and then rub handfuls of them together and the outer peel sluffs off easily. It's not a nice texture nor is it very digestible. Fair bit of extra effort but I kind of can't go back now cus it's a way better texture whether you're crisping them or putting them in a curry or whatever.

    I did, I rinsed them and rubbed with paper towels to get the skin off.

    turkey, gravy, mashed sweet potatoes, green bean casserole, bacon Brussel sprouts is i think what i am planning on so far for thursday. my brother wanted to host a fiesta thanksgiving with tacos, i decided to skip it and go traditional and invite my lab people that don't have plans otherwise. so far, the belgian, the korean and the indian are all planning to come
