We had an old thread listing those dumb movie tropes...you never see them put the key in or out driving, never adjust tilt steering or the seat no matter who's driving, never recheck to see if they actually locked the damn thing

My biggest peeves are still - No one says thank you for anything, or good bye when talking on the phone. They also never specify a time after agreeing to meet later. It's always See you tonight, or I'll be there in the morning. Then end of conversation.
