I'm thanking to mock you all for believing that's true. C'mon, man!

I just read the headline, but it's good satire now that I read the text.

Yeah, I have softened on this. To many hard working people forced to make bad decisions by predatory lenders simply because they can't live of what predatory corporations are forced to pay. The argument for unions has become more justified, and that's not a good thing. Working class wages have not moved with economic growth. Why is that? Corporations have moved to outsourcing to minimize "employees" and allow them to skirt employment taxes, benefit costs, and labor laws. People are disposable commodities again, which is one of the reason for the rise of the labor movement in the first place.

Here's the problem with that. Say they make the minimum wage $15/hour. Does that mean that everyone already making more money will get a proportional wage increase? Of course not. So now all these people that have (in many cases) zero skills, are now going to be paid more while people with actual skills, whether from going to college or on the job training or whatever, now have their value lessened by the new minimum wage. Not to mention that nobody is going to go to McDonalds and buy a $12 Big Mac.
You know I won't argue that. Corporations used to shift the entire salary structure up annually to reflect COL and the competitive environment. I honestly haven't researched the reasons, but I have to assume that stopped. My first job out of college in 1989 paid $25,000. That's $53,400 today. What happened?
