The 1960's TV show was everything for us folk living up in Canada. It was made here and we watched Spidey swing through the psychedelic 60's backdrops year after year.
Production values were high on this show, they had an unlimited budget and the artistic talent to go along with it.
look at those buildings in the background...realism and high art crash together to give us Lucas-like effects on a TV cartoon
and the acting was understated and elegant
later episodes tackled tough moral issues....
socially relevant
dazzling and breathtaking special effects 20 years ahead of its time..
PorkChopSandwiches (09-10-2014)
Like a cross between Al Pacino and Bruce Lee, this Spiderman had it all
Fused with the 60's drug counter-culture references and color symbolism, eclipsing Warhol's genius at times

He was a tough guy who could give and take a lotta shit.
Thank you 60's TV cartoon Spiderman, we love you.
