"cis" is Latin for "on the side of" versus "trans" meaning "on the other side of". It's an older gender studies term that never existed outside of academia until the SJW's needed something to label and demean normality. It's in the same vane as criticizing "heteronormative" culture.

So there's no way in hell a normal guy like me (if you would ever actually consider me normal) would have ever been ever to figure it out when it first came about unless we were knee deep in the sociology field?
