Hang in there bud, we all know you have what it takes. Something good is bound to happen, you deserve it.
And what you have been going through is one of the reasons I can't quit my job even though it's slowly sucking the life out of me. I've been in the same field of work for more than 30 years and I'm burned the fuck out, but I know that it would be near impossible to find something in a different field, even if only slightly different because of the way hiring practices have dramatically changed. In this city, if you aren't Hispanic or a bilingual white person, you're fucked out of a LOT of jobs here.
I just got an EOB from my insurance company telling me that I owe the lab that did my bloodwork $500 for the last set of routine blood tests that my doctor wanted. They won't pay a single dime. Apparently, this lab, the same one I've been going to for the past 10 years, is no longer in my insurance's network. I look it up on my insurance's website and it doesn't say whether or not the lab in question is in the insurance's network. I go to the lab's website and they have a list saying which insurance's they will bill, and my insurance is on the list, but they don't say whether or not they're in-network with any of these insurances.
This so fucking wrong.
It should be required by law for insurances to maintain a list of in-network/contracted facilities, and it should be required by law that facilities inform the patient before services are rendered whether or not they're in network with your insurance, and not just "we'll bill your insurance".
This is deception.

I wanted to be a Monk, but I never got the chants.

My anger has subsided. Now I'm looking over the details. It looks like the lab billed the wrong division of my insurance company.

Ok, need to call the insurance company. I'll do that tomorrow.

Last couple years I had almost no alergies... yesterday I spent the afternoon sweeping the deck and cleaning up the patio for Spring and now I'm just a mess. My nose is pouring, mouth is itchy, eyes watery. Fuck this.

Watched Casey Neistat's full review of the Galaxy Fold. It's kind of neat, I definitely wouldn't buy one because of the size and cost, but like he said, it's the first time in a while there's been something on the horizon for mobile phones that isn't just an incremental change and makes you excited to see what comes next.
When I first moved to Colorado, I never had any issues with allergies, and this was moving from Vermont where it's humid all the time and all kinds of things are growing everywhere to a basically very dry climate. But the longer I live here, the worse my allergies get. It started about 10 years after I moved here. And at first it was only the fall that really bothered me, now it's slowly becoming just as bad in the spring as it is in the fall. If it wasn't for Claritin, I would be way fucking miserable.
