Scotland - The only place where Orson Buggy is not a name, but a method of mass transit
FBD will love it, the rest of you probably not so much
I liked this one a lot
Excellent.
Here's a brief introduction:
Governments around the world spray a chemical in the air to combat global warming. It turns out that this chemical actually freezes the Earth, making it inhabitable for man. A train designer foresaw this and built a self-sufficient train to prevent the extinction of man. The train is sectioned from top to bottom; first class at the front, stowaways at the back. Conditions at the back of the train are dire. The story follows the struggle surrounding the stowaways.
8/10 for me. I do love a good dystopian sci-fi film.

sounds like something I'd watch^
also, "fortress" not the christopher lambert film.... but it's probably just as terrible
I watched Snowasspiercer and did a review earlier....I didn't like it as much as LC, it was interesting tho
Interesting, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes is getting absolutely rave reviews (currently 92% on Rotten)... wasn't expecting to read that! Found the 2011 reboot pretty average.
I just watched 'The Zone' which is an old Russian movie about some really wierd shit.
Its so fucking slow, the setting and acting really gets you into it, but then... just nothing happens. Its kind of a sci-fi/thriller/existential artsy fartsy film that depends on the mood of the story to build tension, because other than the location they have no special effects. Ultimately I thought the "climax" was incredibly anti-climatic, but I was glad I waited to see the very end of it.
Cant really recommend unless you like very long movies with bouts of intense dialogue spaced between long sequences with absolutely no dialogue.
