The point of this thread, something that people in this country and world need to learn, is that there's no such thing as a "safe space" in this world. They just don't exist in this reality. The world is hard and cruel and everyone needs to learn to deal with it. Survival depends on it.

I am a fairly boring guy so it is unlikely I could post anything that would warrant a call to action.
I saw the words safe space and imagined a form that anyone could post anything completely free of any repercussion on the rest of their life. I joined this website because I enjoy reading weird and random thing and seeing how others respond to them.
I was fantasizing how an unrestrained free for all record of free speech could come about. A true safe place where anyone can say or post anything with out fear of being banned, or losing a job, or wrecking a friendship. It may not be possible but it sure would be fun.

You can say whatever you want. You might get an argument, but then again maybe not. If whatever you post is in clear violation of the rules (which you really should read, btw), you'll either get yelled at, warned, or banned. In very extreme cases, we might call the police on you.
Otherwise, we're members of a forum dedicated to nothing in particular. We're all kind of boring and weird. Some of us are weirder than others. You might just be in the right place.
If you want complete, unfettered freedom of speech, you're gonna have to go into the Deep Web.

We're a pretty tolerant group here, It's highly unlikely that we would "track you down" unless you started posting stuff like kiddie porn or something very extreme. To date this has never happened and we have never "exposed" anyones real name or posted personal ID info about them. (place of employment, address,etc).
Feel free to post your opinion on anything, it;s very rare that we have to ban anyone and that's typically only after multiple warnings. Usually bans are not related to content but for personal attacks on other members. You can argue your point of view all you want, get into a heated discussion, etc. but we draw the line when it turns into an insult hurling contest.
