It went okay....because of the short notice we didn't have a lot of help...in fact nobody showed up at first, so it was a huge struggle. Just me, my 72 year old dad and my girlfriend who is not a very big person at all. So I was trying to get all the heavy/awkward stuff and it just wasn't a lot of fun and it was taking a lot longer than we had planned. Plus, we only had the U-Haul for 6 hours and we were worried we weren't gonna be able to get all the big stuff over before we had to return it. Luckily the g/f called some different friends and they showed up and we got the last of the heavy stuff over and even was able to go get the washer and dryer we had on hold before we had to return the truck. The worst of it is definitely over now.

Not a workday, I just got back from South Carolina last night, today is a recovery day. I donated my 42" LG to my Aunt, she's a built in entertainment "wall" and I knew the 42 would fit in the opening perfect. (replaced her 35" tube TV). I installed it while she was at work, she freaked out when she got home and saw it!

Dad insisted on going halves toward a new TV, it was his idea and his current TV wouldn't fit. A couple years ago we put my old first gen WDTV up there and a hard drive with a bunch of movies/tv we update when we make trips down but she's never even seen HD, after watching a couple movies on the new TV she's excited to get a new HD DVR on her Dish service.

I want to go up to a 47" minimum, maybe a 50". Microcenter has a couple of 47 LG 3d smart tvs for $650 or a 55" LG refurbished for under 1G, also saw a Toshiba 50" LED for about $750 but it wasn't a "smart" TV.

Looking at Samsung, LG mostly but checking out Sony, Sharp, Toshiba a bit too. Just trying to get a good TV for a budget price. With something that size I don't wanna go with a budget brand like Vizio or Panasonic, etc.
