Schieffle isn't a dirty player and I'm sure that he didn't mean the hit to turn out the way it meant to be, but I'm sure that he will get suspended for it.

Talk about a tough angle....
FBD (06-04-2021)
that's gotta be something they look for and practice, hitting the far side corner when you see a goalie really come down tight to the iron like that
Ya a few people have had that take online... Scheifele is not a dirty player at all so I give him a lot of slack for that but I do think he dropped his hand off the stick and went full throttle at Evans there after the puck was in... but then again you do have to remember that things don't happen at slo-mo speeds in the NHL, he probably was thinking a hit could prevent that goal. I'd like to be a fly on the wall for the DPoS hearing to see what he had to say. I'm sure he feels awful.

Wow, Canada won gold at the IIHF World Hockey Championship today... I actually had no clue we made the finals I feel kinda bad but I paid zero attention to this tournament with NHL playoffs being on and the IIHF team having almost no star players this year.

Montreal is the hope for Canada to break the Stanley Cup curse. And they were the last team from Canada to do it, back in 1993. Amazing that no Canadian team has won in 28 years.

28 years, cmon you slackers
There hasn't even been a Canadian team in the finals for 10 years. Vancouver was the last one in 2011.

I was 5 when the Cup was last won by a Canadian team, I have zero memories of it ever happening I do vaguely remember the Blue Jays winning the World Series that year though, mostly just my cousins and I being yelled at by my dad and uncles to shut up as they cheering
But while Montreal has surprised the hell out of Canada these playoffs, I don't hold much hope of them advancing to the Finals.
Welp, the Bruins are done, just played like shit after taking a 2-1 series lead. They played Rask even though know it's obvious they shouldn't have because they're saying he needs surgery in the offseason now. What a collapse from what was a great and promising season and playoff run up until this. Bergy and Marchand (and Rask) aren't getting any younger, how many more years can they play at this level? One? Maybe two? The door is quickly closing on what has been a great decade for the B's, and they only have one Cup to show for it and tow finals losses.
Rask is still there? I thought he'd be having beers with Timmy by now
I know it's no consolidation after your team lost when they were promising, it stings for a while... but I'd happily give my left nut for the last 10 years the Bruins have had even if the window is closing for their core to win another cup. I'd love to see Bergy win won as captain though, one of the most passionate guys in the game.

Oh believe me, I do appreciate how good the B's have been over the last decade plus. It's not just you, there are fans of a lot of teams that would be beyond thrilled with a team that was a perennial playoff team and one with the ability to get to the finals and win the Cup. But when your team is that good, you are just always expecting more. It's just human nature.
