Soooooooo tired, sweet dreams everyone
Hi All - just checking in - will not be here long tonight
Thanks to Goofy for my sig
Wow... I'm kinda fucked.
Turns out, as my boss and I just realized today, to get licensed to sell insurance you need a certified criminal record check. That's going to take 2-3 weeks, and I can't talk to customers until then. What's more frustrating is that my ID says I live in Victoria and to get the record check in the works I need ID that says I live in this municipality.. even though it's a federal police force
So who knows that's going to happen... a seemingly minor detail could cost me 2-3 weeks of lost work. Fuck fuc
Howdy MrsM, glad to see you checking in
I wanted to be a Monk, but I never got the chants.
It's an issue because ICBC (our DMV) is closed weekends and I can't even get the ball rolling on a records check until Monday... and from there it could take 3 weeks So it's all kind of a clusterfuck between the RCMP, ICBC, the Insurance Council of BC (another ICBC ), my new employer and myself...
But...
I just did something sneaky I called in a favor with my uncle who is a cop.... I'm not one to drop names or call in favors if I can avoid it, but he's going to do me a huge solid. He said he's pull up my stuff on Monday and send it my way
I lucked the fuck out it seems...
Hi RBP - how are you tonight?
Thanks to Goofy for my sig
GF - it's good to know a cop

Hi Belle how did everything go?
Thanks to Goofy for my sig
I was going to do law... but lawyers all turn into pricks and it's not a good time to be a lawyer Not sure if anyone else read that article in the NY Times about lawyers being graduated and working for $10/hr with 100k in debt, but it's ugly out there.
I think trying my hand at the finance world is going to be better for me And I was ready to be done with studying/school
