And the difference in the Mexi vs the US Fenders are in the build quality and wood quality typically.

I've got spurs that jingle jangle jingle
My mim tele is a solid alder body, very nice neck profile, a tad larger than the neck on my am pro. Setup out of the box spot on, frets are perfect other than 7th on high e is maybe a mm high, if that. Intonation is perfect all the way up neck.neck is straight. I'm actually probably going to put just a tad of relief in it, just as my preference. I traded because of the finish. My mim strat is better ( to me) than any American strat I've played in stores other than custom shops. The only thing I'd trade it for is if I found a really nice sonic blue strat. Obviously, I'd rather have the custom shop versions, but that's absolutely not in my budget, nor do my skills warrant customs, lol.
Katanas are actually a good pedal platform. But of course they would be, they're made by Boss. Only one of the largest guitar effects pedal companies in the business...

I really like my Katana. I've downloaded many patches, and can get some awesome tones out of it, but, tbh, I mostly just use the panel controls and dial in what I'm looking for. DGX, did you get your Mesa yet?
It's supposed to get here on Friday.

The river tells no lies, though standing on the shore, the dishonest man still hears them.

Cashier: "Yesterday was rough, like you had to run to the car"
Me: "I know, I was working in it all day"
Cashier: "Well, you're probably used to it after all these years"
I wanted to be a Monk, but I never got the chants.
