So with my changed job responsibilities, one of my main tasks is now being the field liaison for new technology roll outs. I traveled to train on the system and helped develop the justification and the sales pitch. It was all building up to an important meeting far beyond my pay grade, but which I was invited to attend to provide the current realities in the field to the client on behalf the main contractor, for whom I subcontract.

That meeting is today. I have no location, no time, no agenda, no attendee list. I am not sure what I am supposed to do at this point other than stay home and wait to see what, if anything, happens.

Did they forget? Did they decide not to include me? Did it get canceled? Is my boss setting me up? No clue.

Was at new company office doing some training, then stayed at my mom's and spent Thursday doing a bunch of yard work for here before I start new job. This weekend, have to till my garden up, wash new work clothes, and get ready to fly to Midland Tues.

And today is officially shit........ everything i touch is turning to shite :x Had to prime a small repair three times this morning :facepalm: 1st time round i managed to 'boil' the primer with an infrared lamp, 2nd attempt i tore the primer when rubbing it (obviously wasnt fully cured) so primed it again and chucked it out of the workshop....... the painters can deal with it :lol: Now i'm fitting side steps to a Kia Sportage, a nice flat-pack kit :cheers: The instructions might as well be printed in Swahili for all the good they are :meh:
