I switched to chrome a couple of months back after 10 years + of using firefox! I was the same as you, random shutdowns and freezes, pissed me off once too often so decided to give chrome a try and havent looked back, their adblocker addon is quality :ok:

I've used Chrome off and on, it just doesn't 'feel' the same as FF and it doesn't always seem to have the addons I'm looking for. Maybe I should give it another chance. FF is just not that good anymore.

I'll have to check and see if the ones I use are available for Chrome. I don't use many, but I do like the ones that I do use. The other thing I really don't like is that there's no search bar in Chrome. I just don't like typing what I'm searching for in the address bar :lol:

Chrome's actually pretty customizable........ not as much as FF is but you can play around with the layout a bit and there's tons of themes to choose from. You'd soon get used to it (if i can then anyone can :lol: ), the add-ons might be your only downfall! On chrome i really only use adblock and that's about it :lol:

Okay, I'm on Chrome now, we'll see how this goes for today. Imported all my bookmarks and whatnot from FF and got almost all the addons that I was using with FF. Some of them act different, probably because of the way they have to be written for Chrome, and that will take a bit of getting used to, but I'll give it a whirl. Especially since FF pissed me off today :lol:
