Nope, I'm at work. Just had a hectic and frustrating weekend.


That doesn't sound like fun :-k

I had fun but about half my forward progress on a new rehab job I'm doing up there went to hell.

First they turned the resort water on and water started pouring out the bottom of the unit I'm working on. The main valve was shut off but had failed so there was no way to stop the water. I ended up running down to turn off the main for the whole east side of the complex, I then dug all the mud out of the valve pit, sliced my finger on the broken valve then had to call around and try to find someone to to an emergency replace on a Sat as I didn't have the tools to do it. Ended up only costing me $100 and I'll bill the owner $150 for my services.

Next I went up on the roof to temporarily patch the holes the raccoons made, the owner doesn't wanna re-roof until next year so I bought foil faced peel-and-stick. Put that all up in a couple hours no problem....

....until the next morning.



I went down to take photo's of my work so I can bill the owner. There's a brand new hole right through my patch. :suicide:

I'm pretty sure a mother is nesting in there with her babies. :suicide:

I really don't want to rip the roof panels up searching for the nest only to confront and battle with a crazy critter protecting her young all while 15 feet up on a slippery roof.

Kid's soccer game was early (9 AM on Saturday, they won 4-3 with a goal in the last couple of minutes) and then we just basically stayed home the rest of the weekend.
