Hahahaa, I hear ya. I was perfectly happy renting our last home. Rent was less than I pay in mortgage now, and if something broke, the landlord paid to fix it. Including new appliances, and a new water well, I've paid out more than $4000 this year. Still waiting on the estimates to come in to repair water damage in kitchen. (While I waz in Malaysia this last time, my wife went to Virginia. During her trip, the hot water supply hose to kitchen sink split resulting in substantial water damage to cabinets, counter top, floor, and wall.) My ins. deductible is only $500, but while they are repairing the damage, I'm going to have some upgrades done out of pocket.

One of my co-workers just got taken away by ambulance to hospital. He was at his desk, said he didn't feel good and was dizzy. We did the normal first aid stuff, found his BP to be 70/40 and called the EMS. He did walk to ambulance, though I'm not so sure that was a good thing. He's in his mid 30's, pretty healthy guy actually.

He'd made backups before doing the upgrade but somehow they were corrupted........ had to start the forum totally from scratch again (after 5 or 6 years and 10,000s of posters)............ thats what scares me :|

Fireman blocking our work parking lot, a 5 foot gusher coming out of the middle of the lot and the water level is around 3-4 feet deep.I had to park on the south side of the property and walk over to my place.

No water and I was told by my boss's boss that it may take up to 2 weeks to get it fixed...
My supervisor just says suck it up but he sits at a desk all day long and lives close to work.

No toilets, no sinks and no drinking water...I may have to tilt a windmill once again to get some sort of temp setup going :|

Dude I've worked in that particular building for over 19 years...I'm part of the foundation so they tell me.
Had some really rough years and it shows...I'm pretty much fearless in all that I do.

We print business forms and sports tickets for multiple clients and also do mass mailings, variable imaging which is just citywide billing for utility companies and the like.
My formal title is - Inventory Control Technician - it's on my job description :lol:

Guys at Best Buy prolly make more cash than me...I have to stop working there, I take it for granted and it doesn't test my mind anymore...

I work a low level blue collar job and it's all that I know, I really shouldn't put down anyone in retail or drive thru's or people who pump gas..I'm on the same level and we all need to work.
I've been asked to get into sales about a million times, because I guess I'm open and friendly and handle a lot of communications within our group...that world is not for me, don't think I could do it daily.

Sure do think a lot about what I'm supposed to be doing with my life, it's certainly not warehouse work...I need to get an adult job, I'm in my 40's ffs :lol:

We both got the job, then I had to tell them no way could I do it, as I didn't have a car, and the job was 50 miles away from my apt. They had me and my bud car pool until I could buy a car and move. That was in 93. I've had two jobs since.
