Today didn't get off to a great start. I slept until my alram went off this morning for the first time in months. So when I sleep that 'late' I'm always just a little in a rush because it doesn't take long to get ready and get out the door. So as soon as I leave the bedroom to go downstairs, I can hear one of the dogs whining, so I have to take them all outside. When I finally get them all back in and settled back down, I rush out the door....and leave my glasses on the table because I had put them down to take the dogs out. I can already feel a headache coming on trying to look at the computer and read e-mails and drawings that came in over the weekend.

It's going to be a very long day. :|

It doesn't actually feel that bad....it's hovering right around freezing, but for some reason it doesn't feel that cold outside. It must be bad in the mountains though because on my way into work, they had the chain up area for semis all lit up and the warning sign was flashing (illegal to go beyond this point without chains).

My day today was suddenly planned out yesterday with a few words by a sub contracted painter doing some work for us. We had new Spectrum internet and cable installed in 70 properties a few weeks ago, I've been working through the issues since.

Yesterday guy approaches me and says "hey did you know there is no PIN to watch On Demand content?" :shock: Considering we pay the bill I think I better go around and lock down every cable box today before we fill up with renters this weekend.

I agree, there isn't much more of a greater sacrifice than to put your life on the line for your country. I know I couldn't do it. Utmost respect.

Some of the stories about fighting conditions are amazing. The WW2 European stories in particular get to me. The cold, the lack of clothing, the lack of supplies and ammo and the often unknown or wrong information about nearby enemies. Lack of radio contact and directional instruction was often non existent yet you had to continue moving.

A vet was being interviewed and was asked 'how it was'. He replied - Imagine it's one of your coldest nights and you're walking towards a copse of trees in the distance. Then you hear shots whizzing past your ears and can't see a thing in the trees ahead. Beside you your squad mates are dropping and you don't know if they're dead or scared. Then your commanding officer says you must move ahead and remove the enemy. You never leave the group or wait behind out of fear, because there's greater safety within the squad. It could take you the entire night to move 500 meters across a field. Fear becomes like your heartbeat, ever present and loud in your ears.

I think its just that the phone is 4 or 5 years old now - did a factory reset a month or so ago which seemed to help for a while, but now its pretty much the worst its ever been :|

I have an S8 right now, just paid it off, so I've had it for 2 years now. Best phone I've ever had, I'm not gonna upgrade because there's no need. This phone is awesome (IMHO).

Well that pretty much settles it then :lol:

Id be happy to keep hold of my S6 tbh, its been a great phone. I was due an upgrade a couple of years back but i opted to lower my monthly contract price instead of getting a new phone (£35 down to £12 - unlimited everything). Going for the S8 as an upgrade will cost me £31 PM for unlimited texts and calls plus 12gb data which should be fine.

Ill have a better look tonight since im finally getting a night to myself for once :lol: Won 21-20 in the Scottish singles last night, into the qtr finals now :tup:

The battery drains a little faster now, especially with heavier use, but it's still pretty good. I can get about a full day, give or take, on one charge if I'm using it pretty heavily. But after 2 years the battery is still pretty decent.
