Oh hello guys!

A few were from my garden, and others I bought at a produce wholesale market in Houston. I spent about $100 on the veggies I bought, but split that with in-laws. When my wife and I decided to do some last weekend, it was just going to be from our garden, but in-laws wanted to learn how to do it, so we got more, lol. Next weekend I'm off, I have to go to their house to help them set up a garden there, and this winter, I'm making a new larger garden at our place for more row crop, and leave the small one for gourd type veggies.


Also, good news, looks like I won't have to go to Congo. I get to go to Brazil instead. MUCH better.

Only for next weekend, and interest in one weekend in Aug. The people that were supposed to take last weekend backed out last minute. We have now started a $100 non refundable deposit to hold a date until full payment. So sick of people cancelling with two days notice.

Yep. Unfortunately this weekend is my Co-owners booking, doesn't help me recoup my costs. I'm personally adding in an extra $50 on the rental to be refunded if I don't have to clean up after people. Also found a local up there that will clean the place for $50 if I can't make it up between rentals.

Honestly my co-owner is against the cleaning fee but I'm gonna try it on my own. We kinda vary the rates a bit depending on the group and how well we know them. If it's a group of partiers I'm gonna charge them a lot more than a group of 50-somethings going up to relax and sightsee.

Well, that was a fine non-productive day! Back home now, have an appointment with the vet tomorrow. Missed out on a trip to southern Indiana to work on the propulsion system on a riverboat casino as I'm waiting for Brazilian Visa to come in, then heading down there. Yeah Hal, they're nasty. They will also infest electronic things like the telephone "thingy" across the road and get in the points on water pump pressure switches to the point that the devices won't work until the ants are cleaned out. I can't even work in the garden without getting bitten. The bites leave nasty, itchy blisters. My grand daughter's foot swelled up Sunday after just one bit her.
