Youngstown, OH --
A minor earthquake of magnitude 2.6 has rattled part of northeast Ohio.
The Ohio Seismic Network says the 6:53 a.m. Thursday quake was centered on the west side of Youngstown and could be felt several miles away. No injuries or damage were reported.
Coordinator Mike Hansen with the Seismic Network says the quake was the first recorded in Youngstown.

Nope, I claim 0 dependents plus have additional money withheld from my check to make sure that I don't owe anything at the end of the year. In the US, the more dependents you claim, the less they withhold from your pay and the less you will get back at the end of the year (or you could end up owing...a lot).

actually...what you're seeing is an optical illusion. The moon is much smaller that it appears.
take a digital camera and take a shot of the 'big' moon...it will show a considerably smaller, less impressive moon.

Super Moon: A Natural Phenomenon
The moon has an elliptical orbit, which makes full moons differ in size. When the moon is at its perigee, closest to earth, it’s approximately 31,000 miles closer to earth than when it’s in apogee, it’s farthest point. Geoff Chester, of the US Naval Observatory, calls Saturday’s lunar phenomenon a super perigee moon. Perigee moons are about 14% larger and 30% brighter than apogee ones.

it's still an illusion  the moon is physically closer at some points in it's orbit, but when you see a giant moon (like a harvest moon in the fall) it's not really that big..

Its the same size it just looks bigger because its closer to the Earth.
Apparently its the biggest for almost 20 years.

ummm..that is true
but the large moon people see is a result of oceans, atmosphere and the sun's rays all playing a trick on your eyes
for a test, take your cell phone out there now.Even if it takes crappy pictures it should reproduce the approximate size in the sky....go ahead, take a pic

Have to party outside as father in law is still staying in our house (due to the county being a pita about the plumbing for his building) so for now, he sleeps in his powered recliner in the formal living room.
