I had a wonderful experience on the way home :|

Went to my favorite gas bar/Tim Hortons, used the ATM there and asked for 260 dollars.It reluctantly spit out 180 dollars and kept my card.This is a busy place so I 'gently massaged' the ATM with my fist and got my card out.Then I was told by the gas station chick that they have nothing to do with the ATM, and that I had to call the bank's 1-800 number.

Spent another 20 minutes getting the runaround on the phone only to be told - We'll have a tech out there sometime in the next 24 hours...

Then, the lovely gas station attendant asked me if I wouldn't mind helping to push a car out of the gas bar that had stalled (keep in mind it's -28C right now) I said - Sure! Why not! and then proceeded to push the car myself while the attendant and the older lady who owned the car chatted merrily about the weather.I don't wear gloves so my hands stuck on her car....then the tow truck arrived and we recognized each other from over 15 years ago.I had punched him at a party that his brother was having :lol:

when all was done....the gas station chick gets close to me and says - I won't tell the Royal Bank guy who's coming that you cracked the face of the ATM, if you give me a cigarette....and I said - Sure! Why not!

The tow truck driver used to run a dodgy video store years ago...I saw him from time to time there.One night he invites me to his brother's party and I said, what the hell..it's close.

Me and another bud show up early, around 8pm and we notice that this guy, his bro and all of his friends are either on PCP or completely drunk.They're acting like morons so we decide to bail.

Tow truck guy gets in my face on the way out and completely hassles me for leaving...I try to be polite and he keeps being a dick bumping into me (us) and making some pretty wild accusations from left field.
At one point he gets so belligerent that I warn him, then hit him once...concisely, right on the chin :lol:

Tonight he recognized from the vid store and then kept looking at me weird as he hooked up her car.....vague memories but that's about it I guess :lol:

I just took part in a conference call this afternoon where all of our locations nationwide will be changing our work processes to become "consolidated". It involves so much work I won't even bore you with it but my wage is still similar to a part time drive thru worker's wage...

My supervisor is retiring in about a month and he just laughed after we finished the call....he's freeeeee :lol:

Today was one of those days where I love my job...Sat around most of the day doing absolutely nothing, finally got to do the bit of work needed (30 minutes worth) then sat around some more, got paid for 12 hrs, now at hotel ice cold beer in hand. lol
Tomorrow I get to hang around the hotel until I receive a part, go install it (that'll only take 15 minutes or so), then wait around some more. Sometimes I can't believe they pay me for this. lol

I've been dealing with headaches almost daily since I was about 16, so they have to be pretty bad to knock me down and today was one of those days

Nope, never had it checked, just lived with it. No real head injury at the time that I remember being bad. Just one of those people susceptible to headaches I guess.

took six car accidents, some other hospital related injuries and about 100 dental appointments before I started getting headaches

never had a headache until I was 37 years old, it was a charmed life

Working at the corporate hq for a company that has factories all over, several in Texas. I'm in supply management (purchasing) and so far I like it. Finally got a good desk job.
