Yep :lol: My previous one was the older model of the Logitech MX Revolution so i thought it would be pretty much exactly the same......... nope! They've put a zoom button just above where your thumb sits (directly below the back-page and forward-page buttons) and i keep pressing it by mistake :x :lol:

Yeah, I'm not too keen on all the extra function buttons that they add to some of the fancier mice anymore...I kept doing the same thing and hitting buttons by accident, so I disabled some and re-assigned functions to others.

Nada, doing a bit of housewifey stuff today :lol: Changed the bed, hoovered, put a wash on the had some lunch :thumbsup: Just watching a Hendrix documentary i recorded a few weeks back......... then i have some more housework to do :lol: Ordered a micro stereo the other day, been meaning to get a new one for ages as my old Sony stack stereo is pretty much fucked (cd player has been dead for years, tape deck still works a bit but sometimes chews old tapes, none of the buttons function so you have to use the remote all the time :lol: ) although i did buy it when i was just out of school so i think i've got my moneys worth out of it :tup: So, gonna chuck that out plus a couple of the old speakers........ then i'm gonna have a clearout of my wardrobe, so much crap in there that i never wear (another job ive been meaning to tackle for years :oops: ).

So that's my plans for today........... either that or i'll just sit here watching tv and browsing :mrgreen:

waking up today was like that time my older brother and I found this huge cup anchor out in Lake Champlain. the ice left it out in front of my unc's cottage one year, and it stayed for a good 10 years or more, then one year the ice took it back. few years after that we were a hundred yards out and we saw this yellow rope sticking up, so my brother grabbed it and was going to try and drag the thing back closer in towards being able to dock the boat. yeah, like that thing budged! I think I already related this story once, because I was yelling at him by the time the back of the boat was 3 inches from the water level of the lake :lol:

I have to make a decision.

My dad bought my brother in law an LG bluray player we think will do movies via USB. It's my job to pick up a hard drive for him for xmas. I was gonna get a 1TB portable.
I currently have a 1TB (Tv shows) and a 1.5TB (movies) portables for myself but the 1.5 is filling up fast. Would it be wrong to buy a new 2TB for myself and give BIL my 1TB pre loaded with Movies as a gift? Or should I just buy him a new 1TB and hope by the time I need more storage the sizes and prices on the 2+ portable drives will be better?

The other dilemma is we typically put a $50 limit on gifts amongst ourselves (not including my niece) I waited too long to get a 1TB for $58 bucks, it's now $65. For $70 I can bump up to a 1.5TB....

Yea, it's been around a couple years and is mostly known for messing up movies when they are being played through playstations, etc. As far as I know there still is no way to remove it. Typically a movie will play fine for the first 45 minutes or hour then either stop or the audio will cut off. Mostly films that Sony Pictures is involved in but a few others have jumped on the bandwagon.

If you have an older player they play just fine, the newer players have a detection chip.

Would have done it, but I have present in checked bag, and they couldn't get it on the early flight. Oh well my flight boards in 2 hrs.

I was only off yesterday, usually we are dead slow this time of year, but this year it's been crazy all month, so minimal time off unfortunately.

We have one big job that was supposed to be completed by the end of the year....we're running a little behind on it, but not too bad...until I found out on Tuesday that the place that does all our heat treating is gonna be closed until January 2nd.... :|

Similar issues for us with parts departments atm :wha: Scotland is officially closed on wednesday (the whole country will be drunk) and thursday and a lot of places are half-staffed until next monday.
